Thornton Heath is a district of South London within the London Borough of Croydon. The area is mainly residential with the majority of homes being of Victorian design.

There is a bustling High Street with a variety of shops, restaurants and public houses, together with a modern leisure centre for the diverse local population. Thornton Heath Pond, now a roundabout, is a famous local landmark and one of many open spaces located throughout the area.

Formed in 1871, the fifth oldest rugby club in the world, Streatham-Croydon, is based in the area with their recently renovated stadium located on Frant Road. Crystal Palace football club is also on the doorstep offering premiership football!

Thornton Heath railway station provides an excellent service with easy access into Central London and surrounding areas, it is complimented with an extensive bus service.
