Guide to South Norwood

South Norwood is a district of South East London within the London Borough of Croydon. A large part of the district is dominated by the country park and South Norwood Lake. This area also boasts a leisure centre on the Portland Road and a lively high street with a good variety of shops and public houses. It is also home to premiership football club Crystal Palace.

A range of styles of houses can be found in the area from grand Edwardian homes to Victorian cottages and modern apartment blocks offering variety to families and first time buyers. There is also a thriving rental market attracting investment.

There are two train stations, Norwood Junction and Selhurst, giving superb access into central London. The Tramlink system connects from Beckenham to Wimbledon and New Addington plus there is an extensive bus service.

There are a number of good schools in the area, including St Chad’s RC Primary School, The Harris Academy and the BRIT school is also close by.
