Guide to East Croydon

East Croydon is a thriving part of Croydon and the hub of transport in the area with train journeys to central London taking around fifteen minutes, the Gatwick Express train stops here as do trains to the South Coast. The Croydon Tramlink connects the surrounding areas of Addiscombe, South Norwood, Wimbledon, Beckenham, Elmers End, New Addington, Mitcham and Beddington. The bus terminal also has many routes servicing the local and surrounding areas.

East Croydon has a variety of residential homes to include Victorian, Edwardian and modern built homes to include the Park Hill development, which has a mixture of styles and different sized properties.

This part of Croydon also has a large amount of commercial business units including the iconic skyscraper NO. 1 Croydon (formerly known as the 50p building or NLA tower).

The area has an abundance of shops, hotels, public houses and restaurants making it a vibrant place to live.

A number of excellent schools are within easy reach to include Trinity, Whitgift , Old Palace, Royal Russell, John Fisher and the BRIT School.
