The 6.6% Figure is the highest increase in the volume of " fresh to the market" one and two bed homes since 2007. The reason for this maybe landlords ready to sell up due to the chancellors flurry on tax changes and stamp duty rises aimed at the buy to let investor.

This is good news for first time buyers as they will have more choice.
